Explorer then reviews concepts such as business model validation, financial projections, landing page creation, and commercial pitching. In addition, participants talk about entrepreneurship and present their ideas to startup founders and internationally recognized experts. The most interesting is the “Explorer Trip” to be held in Valencia, Spain. The participants will exchange experience and interact with each other “in situ” in a well-known European innovation center for a week.

“The ideal path for an entrepreneur within Santander Universities, and Santander X in particular, starts with the Santander Explorer, which provides them with the tools and networks they need to build a solid project, as well as the certainty that entrepreneurship is not only possible, but more alive than they think. “ he said Diego Calascibetta, Global Head of Entrepreneurship at the Universities of Santander.

Explorer is part of Banco Santander’s global entrepreneurship initiative, Santander X. Santander X helps start-ups, micro-entrepreneurs and SMEs get training and connects them with resources to grow. Innovation is key to finding solutions to current unanswered problems and improving productivity, employment and economic growth.

The Bank supports entrepreneurship at all stages: from programs that validate ideas at the pre-incubation stage, to providing visibility, connections and resources for start-ups and scale-ups that have already begun international expansion.
