SATYA MicroCapital launches third edition of Vijayalakshmi Das Entrepreneurship Awards 2023

New Delhi [India]November 1 (ANI/NewsVoir): SATYA MicroCapital Limited recently launched the third edition of Vijayalakshmi Das Entrepreneurship Awards 2023 – “The Mother of Indian Microfinance” – Lashmi Daslak – Lashmi Das Lashmi Das An Award to felicitate Women Entrepreneurs to felicitate Entrepreneurs at grassroots level and Recognition platform.

The grand launch took place on the occasion of SATYA’s 6-year groundbreaking ceremony at Eros Hotel, New Delhi.

Dr Alok Mishra (CEO & Director: MFIN) and Jiji Mammen (Executive Director & CEO: Sa-Dhan) during their keynote address shared their heartfelt sentiments on SATYA’s growth trajectory and also encouraged everyone to achieve a higher state of transformation.

Renowned Indian social activist – Padma Shri 2021 Dr Niru Kumar, who has been working for women’s empowerment since last three decades, also attended the launch event and hailed SATYA for its remarkable impact in the lives of rural women entrepreneurs.

Dr Arun Kumar Pandey – Orthopedic Surgeon & Assistant Professor at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, who is also a renowned poet, Vijayalakshmi Das was one of the announced guests at the inaugural event of Entrepreneurship Awards 2023.

Further highlighting the essence of the programme, SATYA Board Members – Surekha Marandi, Navin Surya, Dr Deepali Pant Joshi, MD, CIO and CEO- SATYA, Vivek Tiwari also shared their heartfelt views covering Ms. Vijayalakshmi Das’s witty and gracious personality. . The event witnessed the goodwill participation of more than 300 audience consisting of SATYA employees and members of MMI n BFSI sector.

The Vijayalakshmi Das Entrepreneurship Awards are divided into four categories: Leader of the Year (One Award), Entrepreneur of the Year Awards – Micro (3), Entrepreneur of the Year Awards – Small (3) and Entrepreneur of the Year Awards – Medium (3).

The awards were opened immediately after the nominations were submitted. The nomination form is available on the official website of SATYA MicroCapital Limited. The deadline for submission of entries is December 31, 2022.

Nominations will be evaluated by a panel comprising of recognized experienced members working in the field of microfinance in India. The winners will be announced at a gala award ceremony on March 8, 2023 – International Women’s Day.

Each of these prestigious awards is designed to identify, recognize, influence, inspire, encourage and celebrate the outstanding leadership and achievements demonstrated by women entrepreneurs in the Indian microfinance landscape.
