NFL Week 2 coverage map: TV schedule for CBS, Fox regional broadcasts

The NFL Week 1 schedule featured a loaded regional broadcast schedule. As usual, week 2 will be a bit thinner.

Both CBS and Fox will broadcast early and late afternoon games in Week 1 to kickstart the 2022 NFL season. This week, only CBS will offer viewers a game in each window; Fox only plays one game regionally in either the early or late window.

Additionally, there are four prime time games in Week 2 as a result of a Monday Night Football doubleheader. So instead of playing 13 games on Sunday afternoon as usual, it will only be 12.

CBS will have a larger share of those 12 games in Week 2, which makes sense given this week’s double broadcast window. The network will rely on Steelers vs. Patriots to carry its early Sunday coverage, while Cowboys vs. Bengals will be its dominant game in the later timeslot.

Fox’s regional coverage is a little more diverse, but it looks like its main focus among the five games will be the Saints vs. Buccaneers matchup.

Below are the full NFL coverage cards for Week 2, along with a list of the major TV markets and the CBS and Fox games each Sunday will feature.
