You love him or you hate him, but there’s no denying that Jose Mourinho is a pure entertainer. The current Roma boss has always been known for expressing himself in unique ways, coming out with witty and brilliant words of wisdom. During his time as manager, Mourinho has won a total of 25 titles, including two UEFA Champions League trophies – one each with Porto and Inter Milan, while he also won the UEFA Cup with Porto and the Europa League with Manchester United.
The 57-year-old has coached many great players and established himself as a pragmatic but forgiving manager throughout his trophy-rich career. As well as success on the pitch, the Portuguese manager is also hoping for success off the pitch after making a special appearance in star rapper and Manchester United fan Stormzy’s 11-minute music video.
Watch Mourinho say shush and famous catchphrases in a hilarious cameo
The ex-Chelsea manager stands by Stormzy’s side and his cronies. As the camera zooms in, Mourinho and Stormzy hold a finger to their lips, while the caption reads: “You love talking about the old days men are old like Annie are you alright? I prefer not to speak as if I were Jose.”
The audio snippet is playing in the background, with the lyrics referring to Mourinho’s famous interview in 2014 after Chelsea lost by a single goal to Aston Villa in a Premier League encounter. At the time, the former Chelsea manager famously said: “I prefer not to speak. When I speak, I get in a lot of trouble.” Stomzy’s 11-minute video has garnered 491,169 views so far.
After the music video was released, the Portuguese shared a post on Instagram with the caption: “It was great fun doing this cameo for Stormzy’s new music video which is out today. I had a nice time.”
After the video was released, fans took to social media and posted their reaction to the Roma manager’s special performance. Fans hailed the manager for his performance, calling him “GOAT,” while another fan wrote in his tweet that the video appearance was “worth 10 Sir Alexander titles.” Another fan also asked for a story about how Jose Mourinho was involved in the music video.
Jose Mourinho is the bucked coach now, we won’t be taking any more applications for the foreseeable future. This video appearance is worth 10 Sir Alexander titles.

Why was Mourinho banned for 2 games?
Usually known as a very cool customer on the pitch, Mourinho lost his composure during Roma’s game against Atalanta recently, which resulted in the referee showing him the red card. The incident happened in the first half of the Serie A game on Sunday. Atalanta defender Caleb Okoli defeated Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo in the penalty area. While Roma players requested a VAR check, Mourinho found it difficult to contain his emotions. The Roma manager stormed onto the pitch and urged those in charge to have the incident reviewed by the VAR. However, he was shown the way to the dressing room. Angry at the card, Mourinho continued to lose his composure and attempted to confront the referee only to be held back by his coaches.
What’s next for the Roma boss?
After guiding AS Roma to the UEFA Europa Conference League title last year, Mourinho is aiming to guide Roma to another major title. The decorated manager has recently admitted he still has a few more years to manage before retiring.
Speaking at the 2022 Quinas de Ouro event, Mourinho admitted: “These 22 years have passed quickly but I want to move on. I feel good, I feel strong, motivated, I like winning, I hate losing, nothing has changed. The color of my hair, yes, even the wrinkles, but I want to keep going. Not for another 22 years, because there is no time for that, but for a few years.”
