BROADCAST GUIDE | Everything you need to know ahead of AFL GRAND FINAL Day on Channel 7

An incredible 2022 AFL season comes to a stunning conclusion this Saturday when the Geelong Cats take on the Sydney Swans at the MCG for the 2022 AFL Grand Final live, exclusively and free on Seven and 7plus.

The Seven Network will cover every corner of the Premiership decider for football fans across the country from early morning until late at night as Australia celebrates the first AFL Grand Final at the MCG since 2019.

In a coup for footy fans, Collingwood defenders Darcy Moore will participate in Seven’s Grand Final coverage as part of the Grand Final Countdown panel.

With 22 AFL and AFLW Premiership players, football’s premier commentary team will field an unbeatable lineup for the Grand Final on Saturday Brian Taylor, James Brayshaw, Hamish McLachlan, Daisy Pearce, Luke Hodge, Abbey Holmes, Luke Darcy, Shaun Burgoyne, Matthew Richardson, Jude Bolton, Jimmy Bartel, Dale Thomas, Nathan Jones, Campbell Brown, Jobe Watson, Chris Johnson, Emma Freedman , Rebecca Maddern, Justin Leppitsch and Gelmi Abbey.

On Grand Final day, viewers can start their morning with the Weekend Sunrise AFL Grand Final Day Special live from the MCG, including performances from legendary football stars of today and yesterday and all the color and excitement of the ‘G.

Following this Saturday’s weekend sunrise, coverage of Seven’s Grand Final Day will include:

• Seven’s pre-game coverage from 9:00am AEST will take fans to the annual Grand Final Brunch.

• The 2022 AFL Grand Final countdown begins at 10:30am AEST, where hosts Luke Darcy, Jude Bolton, Jobe Watson and Darcy Moore lead viewers into the build-up to the Grand Final at the MCG, while football’s leading pundits and newsbreakers All pre-game analysis and current developments will be covered.

• Beginning at noon AEST, Seven will be taking viewers live at the MCG every moment of the Grand Final Pre-Game Show. Ahead of the Premiership decision, fans will enjoy pre-match entertainment with Robbie Williams headlining while Mike Brady will perform Up There Cazaly. Abbey Gelmi will sit down for a one-on-one interview with Robbie Williams and last Geelong Premiership captain Cameron Ling chats with Cats skipper Joel Selwood ahead of the big game.
