AFL Grand Final Week 2022: Seven guide

Seven’s grand finale week begins tomorrow night when The Front Bar presents its annual grand finale at 8.30pm nationally on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Mick Molloy, Sam Pang and Andy Maher will be at the bar to round out the AFL season along with an epic cast of football stars including recently retired West Coast Eagles forward Josh Kennedy, Gold Coast SUNS coach Stuart Dew and Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald and outgoing AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan. Footy fans are also treated to a live performance by Australian music icon Paul Kelly.

On Friday morning, fans can join David Koch, Natalie Barr, Mark Beretta, Sam Mac and Edwina Bartholomew live from 5:30am AEST in Melbourne’s Federation Square for a special AFL Grand Final Edition of Australia’s #1 breakfast show Sunrise. Ahead of the monumental clash, fans can catch a glimpse of the 2022 AFL Premiership Cup and see live performances from British singer-songwriter Tom Grennan and Australian football music legend Mike Brady as he performs Up There Cazaly.

On Grand Final day, viewers can start their morning with the Weekend Sunrise AFL Grand Final Day Special live from the MCG, including performances from legendary football stars of today and yesterday and all the color and excitement of the ‘G.

Following this Saturday’s weekend sunrise, coverage of Seven’s Grand Final Day will include:
• Seven’s pre-game coverage from 9:00am AEST will take fans to the annual Grand Final Brunch.
• The 2022 AFL Grand Final countdown begins at 10:30am AEST, where hosts Luke Darcy, Jude Bolton, Jobe Watson and Darcy Moore lead viewers into the build-up to the Grand Final at the MCG, while football’s leading pundits and newsbreakers All pre-game analysis and current developments will be covered.
• Beginning at noon AEST, Seven will be taking viewers live at the MCG every moment of the Grand Final Pre-Game Show. Ahead of the Premiership decision, fans will enjoy pre-match entertainment with Robbie Williams headlining while Mike Brady will perform Up There Cazaly. Abbey Gelmi will sit down for a one-on-one interview with Robbie Williams and last Geelong Premiership captain Cameron Ling chats with Cats skipper Joel Selwood ahead of the big game.
